Gas & Safety Inspections
We carry out thorough gas and boiler safety inspections for all purposes.
It has been the law since 1998 for landlords to get a Gas Safety Certificate every twelve months as a way of protecting the welfare of tenants. This certificate will be issued after an evaluation of your property, specifically focused on appliances that use gas as a power source. Our registered engineers will carry out this inspection and the certificate will contain information about the appliances checked, the date carried out and any problems raised.
What is a Gas Safe Engineer?
A gas safe engineer is screened and undergoes rigorous testing to ensure they are qualified and competent at handling gas checks.
As Gas Safe Registered engineers, VF Heating & Plumbing will check:

VF Heating & Plumbing are qualified in the installation of gas cookers, hobs and ovens. We work 7 days a week, so can install your gas appliances for you at a time, and on a day that suits you.
As our engineers are all Gas Safe registered, you can rest assured that your gas appliance will be installed safely, to current guidelines and in a way that will serve you well for many years to come.
Our engineers will evaluate your current kitchen, the location in which you want your appliance to be installed, and then advise on current gas feeds, and whether any alterations or new installations will be needed. We will provide a quote at this point, and advise you on how long any required work will take, and when the work can be carried out.
Once you’re happy for us to carry out the installation of your gas cooker, our team will arrive on the day and time agreed, and complete the work efficiently, cleaning the work area once we’ve finished.
